Wow, can you believe it’s March already?! I can’t- it’s been a bit of a whirlwind so far. I’m proud of what I have accomplished so far though. In the 6 months that I’ve been actively blogging, I’ve increased my page views significantly. I’ve created a few e-courses and developed some great tools for my fellow wedding planners. I bet if I surveyed our group, you guys would have tons of wins to share too. In fact, I know you would because I’ve seen your wins. Thank you for those have been sharing your victories with us! We must remember to celebrate all the accomplishments we’ve achieved since starting our businesses! Please continue to let us know how you’ve been moving your business along with your wins- big or small, we want to know!
Styled Shoot Symposium
In recent months I’ve had a lot of questions regarding how to do a styled shoot. So March is going to be dedicated to styled shoots. I’ve recently created a Pinterest board all about how to do shoots. There are some really great articles in there if you’re looking for resources. We are going to mix it up a little, and instead of just focusing on a whole week, I’m going to post only on Mondays. Here’s what we got going on this month:
Monday March 11th
Monday. On this day let’s go ahead and talk about your #1 tips when creating a styled shoot. What key factors are the most important to you? How do you brainstorm your vision?
Monday March 18th
Monday. Vendors! What do you look for when finding vendors? How do you find vendors?

Monday March 25th
On the day of, what preparations ensure a smooth shoot. What hiccups have you had and what have you learned from them?
The Goal
My goal for this month is that we help our fellow team members who are wanting to master the art of styled shoots and encourage those who want to start doing them.
Styled Shoot Workbook
This month I’m going to be releasing a Styled Shoot Workbook. I’ll be looking for beta testers who are planning to do a shoot in the next 60-30 days. I used to be an ambassador for WeddingStar (a wedding product company) and we would produce a big shoot 1-2 times a year. I learned a lot during this experience and I am excited to assist new planners with their hope of doing a successful styled shoot the first time around.
