Description
Download this free document with three must-have email templates for wedding planners. As a wedding planner, you’ll need to send countless emails. Personally, I am a firm believer in email templates. I have met several wedding planners over the years who like to write original content to every possible lead, making it a one-of-a-kind experience. I applaud those planners. I truly do. But I have a life outside of work and I hope you do too. I don’t want to spend hours writing when I could be spending that time with my family. And they were just writing to leads, not actual clients. Leads that may not have been interested in their service to begin with.
Your time is precious. Make your hours, minutes, and seconds count for something. To help you out and give you back your time with your family, I’m giving you three must-have email templates to use when words just won’t come easily.
THE “HELLO, ARE YOU ALIVE?” EMAIL
Every now and then you’ll get a client who goes MIA. For whatever reason, they just haven’t responded to your previous email about starting their 30 days before the wedding. This email will give them a little kick in the pants and encourage them to email you back.
THE “THAT’S NOT IN OUR CONTRACT” EMAIL
I cannot tell you how many times a client has asked me to do something that wasn’t in our contract. Setting boundaries is very important. Always remember that your time is worth something. You don’t have to be rude about it, but you need to let them know there will be an additional fee if they’re asking you to do something that’s outside the scope of the contract. That’s only fair, after all.
THE “STOP PROCRASTINATING AND FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK I SENT YOU” EMAIL
It is impossible to help a client if they can’t help themselves. Meaning, I can’t help you organize your wedding if you don’t fill out the client worksheet I gave you. This email will lay a good foundation as to your expectations. You can’t be responsible for a poorly organized wedding if they did nothing to help prepare for it. This email will also act as a record if they come back later and say how unorganized it was. It puts the ball in their court.
Don’t be caught off-guard or stumbling over words. These must-have email templates will come in handy when you find yourself in a difficult situation with a client—it’s bound to happen sooner or later.
