How to Crush Black Friday as a Wedding Planner

Black Friday as a Wedding Planner

Are you thinking of doing a Black Friday sale?

Truth is—I’m not a big fan of discounting your service to accommodate a Black Friday tradition. In my humble opinion, it can diminish the value of your brand. And because everyone’s inbox, newsfeed, and mailbox are filled with discounts, your Black Friday sale might get lost in the sea of advertisements. Plus, if you’re new, you probably already have your services priced at rock bottom and a discount on top of that would leave very little room for profit. In addition, the type of client looking for a discount wedding planner will probably end up being a difficult one. They will want all of your time, resources, and then some more. By the time you send them down the aisle, you’ll be on the brink of burnout. No, this is not the direction I want you to go in.

So here’s my Pro Tip. Instead of offering a discount, I want you to add something of value to your service. This is something you will only offer during Black Friday and something they would love to say “heck, yes!” to. Black Friday is just around the corner, and if you’re a newer wedding planner, that means it’s time to start thinking about how you can stand out from the competition. Are you a wedding planner looking to take your Black Friday game to the next level? Well, look no further! In this blog post, we’ll give you some tips on how to crush Black Friday as a wedding planner. So sit back and relax—we’ve got this covered!

Design Consult

If you’re looking for a unique way to stand out from the competition this Black Friday, why not offer a wedding planning design consult? This is a great way to show potential customers that you’re more than just a wedding planner. You’re an expert in the field who can help them plan their big day in style. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to upsell your services. Instead of offering a discount, you could charge a premium for your wedding planning design package should they be interested in more help. This free consult could show potential customers that you’re worth the investment, and it could help you generate more sales in the long run. So if you’re looking for a way to stand out from the crowd this Black Friday, consider offering a wedding planning design consult.

One Extra Vendor Meeting

Another unique way to stand out from the competition this Black Friday is by offering to do one extra vendor meeting when a client purchases your full-service planning package. This will show them that you’re committed to their event and that you’re willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Plus, it will give you a chance to get to know the vendors and learn more about their services. This added value will surely be appreciated by your clients, and it will help you stand out from the rest. So don’t hesitate to offer this unique perk this Black Friday!

Paper Goods Consult

As a wedding planner, you are always looking for ways to add value for your clients. One way to do this is by offering a paper goods consult when they purchase your wedding management package. There are a few invite companies out there, like Minted, that you can become an affiliate for. This means you can earn money when a client chooses the invites you suggest. Not only does this added service help your client, it also brings you a little extra cash. Win-win!

Email or Social Media Post Idea. Congratulations on your engagement! Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but luckily you’ve found the perfect wedding planner to help you through it all. As part of our wedding management package this Black Friday, we’re offering a free paper goods consult to help you choose the perfect invitations for your big day. We’ll sit down with you and get to know your style and what kind of look you’re going for. Then we’ll recommend a few different invitation companies that we think will suit your needs. We can’t wait to get started!

Rental Items Consult

If you’re looking for a way to add value to your full-service planning package, consider offering a free rental items consult. This is an opportunity for you to sit down with your clients and help them select the best rental items for their event. If you’re looking for a standout portfolio, this might just be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Not only will this save them time and money, but it will also give them peace of mind knowing that they’ve selected the perfect items to make their event a success. Your clients will love and appreciate this added value, and it’s a great way to differentiate your business from the competition.

Email or Social Media Post Idea. When you purchase our full-service planning package this Black Friday, you’ll not only get our professional expertise in helping you plan your event—you’ll also get a free rental items consult. Honeymoon Consult

A honeymoon is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so it’s no wonder that couples often feel overwhelmed when planning their honeymoon. As a wedding planner, you can take some of the stress out of the situation by offering a honeymoon consult. This add-on service gives you the opportunity to work with a travel agent to find the perfect honeymoon destination for your clients. And best of all, it can bring in a little extra cash for you. Most travel agents are happy to pay a finder’s fee for referrals, so you can earn a commission just by helping your clients plan their dream honeymoon.

Engagement Party Consult

This year, why not offer a free engagement party consult with your full-service planning package? Engagement parties are becoming increasingly popular, and couples are often willing to pay a premium for expert advice. By offering this as an added service at no cost to them, you’ll be able to show clients what you’re capable of and set yourself apart from other planners in the area. Plus, it’s a great way to build relationships with potential other clients and get them excited about working with you in the future. It could be just the thing to help you stand out from the crowd.
