Well, with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season now over, we find ourselves resetting and refocusing for the upcoming year. This is the perfect time to start looking at your systems, processes, and goals, and trying to fine-tune your client experience. This month is going to feel like a whirlwind of a month.
But that’s okay, because I like busy!
January 2022 Community Calendar
I’m making some big moves in my business. I don’t know about you, but I’ve decided that I’m tired of playing small and being small. I’m ready to supersize it! After comparing my profit-and-loss sheet for the last two years, I realized I had very little growth. That really bummed me out. But it was also the kick in the pants I’ve been needing. I’m going all out this year! I’ve decided to enlist in not one, but two mastermind programs. I can’t wait to share my new knowledge with you guys.
How do you feel going into 2022?

If you’re a new planner just starting out, you might not quite know how you’re feeling just yet. And that’s okay. So plan as you go; you have me for when things start to go a little sideways.
Objectives of a wedding planner
For those who are ready to take on 2022, I’m wondering if you have your business goals set. Goals are so important. But making a goal alone won’t necessarily get you where you want to be. You need to get very specific and almost baby-step things. For example, I often tell new planners who aren’t sure yet about starting a business that their first baby step should be getting hired as a wedding assistant. My email list will be getting a FREE Goal Mapping Worksheet to help get started with your 2022 goals. This worksheet is also in my Goals Workbook. You should consider getting this workbook if you want to go more in-depth with creating a sustainable strategy for the year.

Remember, we’re still in Engagement Season! This means 1) you need to make your brand super solid and 2) your online visibility needs to be kicked up a notch—i.e., get out there and clean everything up. We’re moving on from this topic, but you should still be working on these things.
