Welcome to the year 2019! As I get older it seems like the time is literally flying by. Seriously one blink- and BAM- it’s 2019 already. January is about new beginnings. But to truly start anew, we must first spend some time reflecting on the past year. What were your wedding planner goals for 2018? Did you reach them? Most of the time we set resolutions, but without an execution plan they often get left behind. I know talking about goals is a popular topic for January- In fact, I have created a goal sheet for you to download. But, I bet if I asked you right now what’s you’re #1 goal for 2019, you would say “to get more brides”.
Boost Your Visibility
So, this month I have a very special treat. We are going to take a deep dive into boosting your visibility. I have teamed up with Veronica of Wedding Planner Education and we have created a fun 5 Day Visibility Challenge. There are many different aspects to being “visible”. In this challenge we explore several different ways to be visible big and small. We discuss your personal presence, how to get visible in front of vendors, ideas to skyrocket your website traffic, and ways to improve your social media visibility. Unfortunately, improving your visibility is not a one and done kind of thing. It takes time and action. Each day in this challenge we will discuss different ways to get visible along with a 10-15 minute action item. I hope you join the fun this month.
Activities this month include:
???Goals 1/2. January is the month for setting goals but I want you to have a way to measure your progress by the end of 2019. Be sure to download our free Biz Profile Tracker Sheet. This sheet will serve as a record of where you started in 2019. It will be fun to see how you end the year.
?✨?Blog Help 1/7– I am here to serve YOU! This means I need your input on what topics and subject matter you want to read about in 2019. Give me specific examples of what you’re wanting to know more about. What have you been searching for but can’t find the answers to? Once a month I also like to do a Techy Tuesday in which I show you how to do something using video. What are you dying to learn how to do? Anything goes- Honeybook, something on social media, something on your website. Yes, ya’ll will be getting an invite to this, so please take a sec to give me some feedback.
The Special Event Conference
???The Special Event Conference 1/8 – 1/10– This month I will be going to The Special Event Conference. I’m super excited about this opportunity! In fact, I have signed up for classes like: Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List 2019, Pricing Strategies for Wedding Pros, Stop Boosting Posts and Start Getting Your Product/Service Directly into a Bride’s or Groom’s Hands, and Building a Sustainable Brand Through Social Media- just to name a few. Be sure to follow me on Instagram while I take on this adventure next week.
