“Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.” – Marilyn Monroe
I wonder what shoes Marilyn Monroe would have worn to work a 10-hour wedding day? It’s kinda fun to think about. Though I doubt she ever worked a wedding, her words could not be more true. When your feet are happy, you’re happy. Wearing ill-fitting shoes can do terrible things to your feet. I know from personal experience that bad shoes can make a wedding day almost unbearable.
Best Shoes for Wedding Planners
I know I’m not alone because I see wedding planners asking about wedding day shoes almost monthly. Wondering which shoes are the best/most comfortable. In fact, I remember posing the very same question in a Facebook group once. This type of question will get lots of answers, but the shoes suggested could easily run $130-$250, give or take a few dollars. I wrote this piece keeping in mind that most of my readers are newer wedding planners who are just getting started with little to no income. So price does matter when it comes to finding a comfortable shoe. I have created a list of shoe options to test out that are below $60.

Last Words on Best Shoes for Wedding Planners
Finding a comfortable wedding shoe may take time. Don’t give up, trust me. One of the very best shoes I have ever owned came from Walmart. They don’t sell that particular shoe anymore (otherwise I would have listed it), so don’t fall into the trap that “expensive” always means better. Try cheap at first and then go from there. I also want to mention that it might be a good idea to change your shoes out during the day. I have a planner friend who slips into flip flops towards the end of the night to save her feet. Don’t be afraid to experiment with finding your feet nirvana. Wondering what else you should wear on the wedding day? Find out here.
