Christmas is right around the corner and I know you’re thinking about what to give Mom, Dad, Grandma, and your second cousin twice removed. But don’t forget about treating yourself to something nice/useful this holiday season too. Or better yet, simply share this list with your significant other. I’m not sure how your family does gift giving, but when it comes to mine, they just want an emailed list with links. They’re a bit practical, though—they only want to get you something you actually want.
7 Wedding Planner Gift Ideas
If you’re trying to come up with gift ideas to give to your family members, check out this ultimate guide to wedding planner gifts.
1. New Website
Is it time to upgrade to a new website? A new year is starting soon and maybe your website needs a little facelift. Take a look at these designs by 316 Restored. She has some really pretty feminine themes to choose from. They use a WordPress platform, but if you’re not familiar with WordPress, she can set it up for you. Bonus: she is very cost-effective.
2. Cricut
The time is now. I’ve wanted a Cricut my whole life, lol. Think about all the projects you can make for your business. You can create your own gifts for brides, create business supplies, and add fun details to styled shoots. The options are endless!
3. New Logo
If you’ve been thinking about retiring your old logo and getting something new, be sure to look in our shop. Fancy Girl Designs has some wonderful premade logos. The best part is that there is a limit on how many can get them, so you don’t have to worry about a million other planners having the same logo. These are premium logos but at half the cost.
4. PicMonkey
One of the most valuable memberships I use daily is PicMonkey. I use it to do overlays on my images, I use it for my Pinterest posts, Instagram posts, and for some of my website designs. It is a vital tool for my business. It’s so much easier to use than Photoshop or Lightroom. There is a learning curve to it, but once you figure it out—easy peasy. You can watch some of our YouTube videos on how to use PicMonkey if you need help.
5. Stock Images
If you’re just starting your wedding planning business and you need more pictures for your gallery and website, check out our shop for some wedding stock images. This is a great deal! You can get 24 pictures for just $24. This is $1 a pic to use for your website, social media, and other marketing ventures.
6. Simplified Planner
I’m in love with Emily’s Simplified Planner. But I’m also old school and love to write things down. I’m can’t really stand using a digital calendar (though my husband swears by them). These planners are a little pricey, but well worth it.
7. Treat Yourself to Our Wedding Planner Foundations Course
If you want to improve your wedding event management skills, this course is for you. Learn how to automate your workflow, receive tons of email templates and downloadable documents, and streamline your process. Check out what our students have to say about it here.
Conclusion
I always feel a little awkward when a family member asks me what I want for Christmas. Having a list of ideas is always helpful in this type of scenario. I know it’s not easy to think about yourself this time of year, but it is the perfect opportunity to think about your business and what you might need for the coming year. If you’re not feelin’ what’s on this list, check out our resource list and shop for even more ideas.
